At the TICE 2019 Conference in Raleigh last week, people were sharing ideas, information, and experiences everywhere you looked. Trainers were bonding over their shared struggles to find ways to engage and excite their learners. L&D professionals were sharing the ways that they had successful learning in their organization. Along with addressing the challenges of the modern trainer, an overarching theme of the conference was fostering a culture of creativity.

At the Training 2019 Conference & Expo in Orlando last week, one of the main themes was overcoming obstacles. The majority of attendees were trainers, a group of people that knows a thing or two about obstacles. The most common training obstacles I heard about were convincing learners that training is worth their time and convincing decision makers that training is worth their money.

Here at ej4, once a year we bring out our Christmas spirit a little earlier than most people and host a "Christmas in July" fundraiser and donation drive for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
